With more than 30 years of experience working in the insurance industry, Charles joined GMG Insurance in 2003, and by 2009, became principal and co-owner with agency partner Ron Viehweger.

Prior to joining GMG Insurance, he spent four years as assistant vice-president with IOA Re, a reinsurance intermediary located in Plymouth Meeting, PA, where he was responsible for national sales of their medical stop-loss products. His insurance career began with Prudential Insurance Company of America in 1986 as a claim examiner and after several promotions departed as a group sales manager.

Charles is a volunteer board member and former president for UMBB, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization focused on delivering services and resources to individuals who have experienced life-altering challenges and who need assistance returning to the normality of their daily lives. Charles serves as a board member for BFI Holder, LLC, an information technology and services company providing digital identity and verification solutions. Charles also serves as a board member on the Little River Condo Association, a golf community located outside of Pinehurst, NC. He is an active Angel Investor with a successful record in FinTech startups.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and resides in both New Hope, PA, and Nashville, TN.
